It was the governor of Colima, Indira Vizcaíno Silva, who confirmed that they contacted the supplier to have it repaired, however, the most serious cases will be sent to the Telethon Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center (CRIT) in Jalisco, so as not to neglect their treatment.
It should be noted that last Tuesday, a letter was circulated from the affected people where they explained that the radiotherapy instrument, unique in the entity and located in the State Institute of Cancerology “Lic. Carlos de la Madrid Virgen”, was useless.

So far it has not been reported if any of the patients was redirected to Jalisco, so it will be until Monday that more information about the repair of the radiotherapy device will be released.
