Britney Spears reflects on Instagram her own development in the fight against her guardianship.

Los Angeles – “I was hurt on all sides for no reason and my family hurt me,” wrote the 40-year-old in a long entry on the social network, which she provided with an invitation to pray. First of all, she repressed her situation. “Then the circle came full circle, my heart took the lead – and I was a lioness”.

The pop singer has been under guardianship since 2008 after she collapsed mentally due to personal and professional problems. Spears repeatedly accused her family and caregiver of controlling and enriching their lives. In November she finally regained her freedom through a court decision.

“Last year I grew … I still have a long way to go!” Spears wrote to her fans. On her way it helped her to recall her past successes and to pray to God. (dpa)
