Drama for Julia Quinn, the successful American writer who is also the author of the TV series Bridgerton. The woman lost her father and sister in a serious car accident: the family was very close.
Steve Cotler, 77 years old, e Violet Charles 37 years old, they were traveling together in their car in the USA, in Utah, when a truck returning from a catering service overwhelmed them, the rescue was useless, there was nothing for them to do. There sister of Julia Quinn, born Ariana Elise Cotler, was a professional cartoonist.
To give the news of the tragic accident it was the young writer who wrote a post on social media telling what happened in detail:
I lost my father and my sister. Because a catering company didn’t secure their cargo and duffel bags spilled on the highway. Because a pickup driver got behind the wheel despite his blood alcohol level being nearly three times the legal limit. I have lost my father and I don’t have my sister to vent.
The two sisters were very close, so much so that their similar work led them to produce projects together. The last was dedicated to his father.
I lost my sister Violet Charles, with whom I had just finished writing a graphic novel. It was dedicated to our father. It will still be dedicated to our father. It won’t be a surprise anymore, but I like to think he suspected we were going to do it to him. He knew us so well. He was our father.
The US media added some details about the incident explaining that from the truck they are falls bags and catering tools which blocked the lane by hitting the car that was traveling at that moment.
