Fast and Furious 9 was released with success in the United States and the news about the sequels did not wait. Thousands of fans are wondering if the last two installments in the series will pay tribute to the late Paul Walker.
In an interview for the Screen Rant portal, Justin Lin, director of the saga, spoke about the possibility of bringing back Brian O’Conner on the latest films in the film franchise.
“Obviously, Paul and his character Brian are the heart and soul of how we’ve progressed. Bringing him back is something I think about every day. As we approach the end of the franchise, it is a conversation that I am having. I think about this possibility every day, ”Lin said.
This would not be the first time that Walker’s image has been recreated with CGI for Fast & Furious. In 2013, the year of his death, the script for the seventh film was rewritten to give Walker’s character an on-screen farewell.
At that time the faces of his brothers Cody and Caleb were used to help recreate the image of Paul in the emotional scene.
