Brembo lands in Silicon Valley, and does so by opening a new “Inspiration Lab“. This is the first high-tech laboratory that the Italian multinational opens in California, with the desire to accelerate the company’s digitalization process, one of the key objectives announced by Brembo last September. Thanks to this hub, Brembo will aim at strengthen their skills in software development, applied to data management and artificial intelligence.

Brembo, known throughout the world for the production of braking systems and systems, has foreseen the opening of this new laboratory in the last quarter of this year. “We are entering and investing in Silicon Valley, a world-renowned place known for high technology and innovation, with the clear and ambitious goal of addressing the unprecedented challenges facing the automotive sector”, commented Daniele Schillaci, Brembo’s CEO. The Italian multinational hopes to attract several partners through its new “Inspiration Lab”, so as to bring together skills from different work sectors for the benefit of the development of new braking solutions signed Brembo. With the opening of this new center, the brake system manufacturer expands its international presence and grows in North America: we recall that the company has been present in the United States for over 30 years, today with the Homer production site and the center of Research and Development of Plymouth, both in Michigan.
