“TheBatman” has finally been launched. Its passage through theaters is a success and there has already been talk of new installments. In fact, Robert Pattinson himself mentioned what the villain could be in a potential sequel. However, thousands of fans have been especially interested in what would happen to the jokerwhose presence was anticipated with the end of the film.
For now, it has been confirmed that the mysterious figure of the iconic clown belongs to Barry Keoghan (Druig in Marvel’s Eternals). In that sense, and after weeks of mystery and innuendo, the actor was interviewed by Esquire Middle East, where he talked about the scene with him next to the Riddle from Paul Dano.

The actor began by praising the film’s director, Matt Reeves, whom he compared to Chloe Zhao (Eternals) for “how comfortable he makes you feel on set.” Then he gave way to his opinion about that chilling scene that everyone talks about.
“Paul is… I’m a big, big Paul fan. He is also a good guy. I’ve seen all his movies, like Prisoners and stuff like that. People say we look alike, and I wonder if we look alike.”

He also expressed how he feels being part of the feature film, which will mark a milestone for future DC projects: “It’s brilliant, man. And Matt Reeves and Dylan Clark, especially and together, they were amazing to me, really amazing. And, you know, being part of the Batman universe is something very important to me.”
“I am a fan of these movies, and especially the Batman universe. So to be in that world, I’m still pinching myself. (Reeves) a filmmaker I also greatly admire. (…) I am in such a blessed position, ”he added.
The future of the Joker is not yet clear, but it is possible that he has room in a spin-off project for HBO Max. For now, we will have a spin-off of Colin Farrell’s Penguin and a series associated with the Arkham mental institution.
