A price survey by the National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) carried out in the week of October 10th to 16th showed that the most expensive liter of gasoline in the country is charged in the city of Bagé, in Rio Grande do Sul: R$ 7.49. The cheapest was found in Cotia, in the metropolitan region of São Paulo, for R$5.29.

Also according to the survey, the price of ethanol rose in 18 states and the Federal District. In another 8, prices fell. On average, it rose 0.92% in the country.
At the posts surveyed by the agency, the average price of ethanol was R$4.819, compared to 4.775 last week. In the state of São Paulo, the main producer of the fuel, the price rose 1.38% in one week and the average per liter was R$ 4,627.
The minimum value per liter of ethanol per state was in Mato Grosso do Sul, with an average of R$ 4,592. The maximum was charged in Rio Grande do Sul: R$ 6,277.
If we take the mental average, biofuel had an increase of 3.57%. The state of Roraima accumulated the biggest increase both monthly and weekly: 6.38% and 3.11% respectively.
