The number of people vaccinated with at least one dose against covid-19 in Brazil reached 168,128,166 this Saturday, 12, equivalent to 78.73% of the total population. In the last 24 hours, 341,951 people received the first dose of the vaccine, according to data gathered by the consortium of press vehicles with the secretariats of 26 states and the Federal District.
In all, 152,496,015 million people took the two doses of the vaccine against covid, which represents 70.98% of the population with complete immunization against the new coronavirus. In the last 24 hours, 195,396 vaccines were administered as a 2nd dose.
Adding the first and second dose vaccines applied, in addition to the third booster (521,051 in the last 24 hours) and the single doses of Janssen (852), Brazil administered 1,059,250 doses this Saturday. In relation to pediatric vaccination (for children aged 5 to 11 years), Brazil reached 5,580,066 doses, equivalent to 27.22% of this population.
