The Brazilian trio formed by Luiz Francisco, Pedro Quintas and Pedro Barros advanced to the final of the skate park disputes at the Tokyo Olympics (Japan). The qualifying took place this Wednesday night (4) at the Ariake Urban Sports Park.

Alongside the Brazilian athletes, another five athletes start the fight for the medals from 00:30 (GMT) this Thursday (5).
In the knockout stage, Luiz Francisco scored the best score (84.31) of the eight that went ahead. The 2nd was the Briton Kieran Wooley (82.69). In 3rd appeared the Brazilian Pedro Quintas (79.02). The other Brazilian in the green and yellow set, Pedro Barros, was 4th, with a score of 77.14.
The 5th place was Australian Keegan Palmer (77). Steven Piniero, from Puerto Rico, with a score of 76.2, went ahead as 6th best. With a total of 74.07, Frenchman Vincent Matheron was 7th. The last classified in the final was the American Cory Juneau with 73 points.
