In the last 24 hours, Brazil registered 152 deaths by covid-19. The weekly moving average, which eliminates distortions between weekdays and weekends, is 196, falling back below 200. In the accumulated total, there are 615,606 deaths reported since the beginning of the pandemic, according to data from the consortium of press vehicles released this Saturday. Within 24 hours, new reported cases of the disease were 8,148. The country reached 22,135,976 cases of the infection since March 2020. The moving average of cases in the last seven days is 8,665.
The daily data is gathered by the consortium of press vehicles, which is formed by Estadão, G1, O Globo, Extra, Folha and UOL, in partnership with 27 state health departments, in a balance released at 20:00.
The Covid Panel, the Ministry of Health’s monitoring system, reports that the country recorded 170 deaths, with 615,570 victims in total. Regarding the number of cases, 8,838 cases were reported. So far, 22,138,247.
