The number of people vaccinated with at least one dose against covid-19 in Brazil reached this Thursday, 5, 105,061,908, equivalent to 49.61% of the total population. In the last 24 hours, 1,012,226 people received the first application of the vaccine, according to data gathered by the consortium of press vehicles from the secretariats of 26 states and the Federal District.
Among the more than 105 million vaccinated, 44.27 million are already with full immunization against covid, which represents 20.91% of the total population. In the last 24 hours, 613,289 people received the booster dose and another 13,374 received a single-shot immunizer.
Adding all the vaccines applied, Brazil administered 1,638,889 doses this Thursday.
In proportional terms, São Paulo is the State that vaccinated the most so far and the only one that reached more than 60% of the total population with at least the first dose of the vaccine (60.27%). Mato Grosso do Sul has the highest percentage of inhabitants with complete immunization (34.17%).
In absolute numbers, the largest number of people vaccinated with the first dose is also in São Paulo (27.89 million), followed by Minas Gerais (10.41 million) and Rio de Janeiro (8.07 million).
