BRASILIA (Reuters) – The Brazilian trade balance had a surplus of $2 billion in October, the Ministry of Economy released this Wednesday.
The result was in line with analysts’ estimate of a surplus of 2.05 billion dollars, according to a survey by Reuters.
Last month, exports reached 22.5 billion dollars, while imports were 20.5 billion dollars.
From January to October, the surplus in the balance is 58.6 billion dollars, against a positive balance of 45.2 billion dollars in the same period last year.
