The Grupo Boticário Foundation joined the entities Trê Investindo com Causa, Fundación Avina and Parsifal21 in the Regenerative Territories program. The idea is to direct more than BRL 400 million to the initiative by 2023 through collective loans. R$ 20 million will be made available to 20 Brazilian territories with environmental and economic potential.
The project plans to contribute to the growth of small and medium-sized companies that generate a positive social and environmental impact in the location in which they are located. For the executive director of the foundation, Malu Nunes, investing in nature protection is strategic for business. “We cannot achieve global conservation commitments through philanthropy or public efforts alone. Businesses and investors also need to move in the same direction.”
