Toyota Kirloskar Motor is set to launch 2 updated models of its best-selling weeklies, Innova Crysta and Fortuner. According to a report by Team bhp, select Toyota dealers have started taking bookings for the 2021 Toyota Fortuner facelift. However, nothing official has been said about its launch timeline. The report said that it may hit showrooms early next year.
Engine will be more powerful
The updated SUV was introduced earlier this year in Thailand. The new Toyota Fortuner 2021 may be a more powerful version of the current 2.8L diesel engine. The updated motor will generate 201 bhp of power and 500 Nm of torque. This simply means that it will be 26bhp more powerful. However, there will be no change in its transmission. The updated model will come with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.

Price may be higher than the current model
The cabin of the 2021 Toyota Fortuner facelift can also see major changes. The Toyota Fortuner 2021 can get an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which will support Android Auto and Apple Car Play.
