President Jair Bolsonaro stated this Monday, 23, on his return to Palácio da Alvorada, that he “conspires for everyone to comply with the Constitution”, without specifying the subject to which he referred. Last Friday, the 20th, he submitted to the Senate a request for impeachment of the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) Alexandre de Moraes, who is conducting the fake news inquiry in which the Chief Executive was included for statements made in one of his broadcasts weekly on the internet against the electronic voting system. “I only have one thing to say: I’m conspiring, yes, a lot, for everyone to comply with our Constitution, ok? That’s my conspiracy. Comply with the Constitution, that’s all,” he said.
The president also promised to send the House a request for impeachment of the STF minister and president of the Superior Electoral Court, Luís Roberto Barroso, against whom he has been making systematic attacks in his rhetorical attacks in defense of the implementation of the printed vote, rejected by Congress on the last day 10.
Bolsonaro justified his return to the official residence during the day: “I have two schedules here (at Palácio da Alvorada), I’m not getting home at 5:30 pm,” he said. The Official Agenda, however, did not indicate any official activity after 5 pm.
