“After contacting the Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense, I gave the FAB the green light for the boarding of the dogs that accompany those Brazilians on their return to the Homeland,” the president posted on Twitter. Brazilian citizens are in Poland after having fled from neighboring Ukraine, which has been undergoing a military invasion by Russia.
The KC-390 Millennium multi-mission aircraft is expected to depart from Brasília Air Base on Monday (7), bound for Warsaw, where Brazilians will board according to definitions from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which coordinates the rescue mission. together with the Ministry of Defence.
On the outbound flight, 11.5 tons of humanitarian aid material will be transported to be donated by Brazil. The forecast is that the KC-390 will return to Brazil on Thursday (10) in the morning.
