The president’s advisers did not renew the domain and the page ended up in the hands of opponents of the president
The president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, lost the domain of the website ‘bolsonaro.com.br’ and the page was flooded with attacks and criticisms against the leader of the Brazilian extreme right, candidate for re-election.
The email address was used for years to promote the Bolsonaro family and the actions of the head of state, who will face former President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in the October 2 elections, a favorite in the polls with a 12 percentage point advantage.
The president’s advisers, however, did not renew the domain and the website ended up in the hands of opponents of Bolsonaro, whose campaign intends to enter with an appeal before the Justice, according to local media.
Currently,
the website shows on its cover an image of the president associated with that of the dictator Adolf Hitler, surrounded by cattle, along with the phrase ‘Threat to Brazil’.

The page also displays a series of texts critical of the Army reserve captain, as well as a series of vignettes in which Bolsonaro appears kissing different personalities, such as the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, or the former president of the United States. Donald Trump, for whom he has always shown his admiration.
«Bolsonaro never hid that he is authoritarian. In his three decades as a politician, he always supported violence, stupidity, the breakdown of the democratic order », states one of the texts published on the web.
The website highlights that the page, currently, “is not managed or owned by the Bolsonaro family,” but according to the Wayback Machine page, which records versions of pages published on the Internet, until last year the page contained information related to the Government and the figure of the president, such as photos, a biography and a podcast.
