Domestic skiers showed the third result in the competition. The team ran the race as follows: Alexander Bolshunov, Evgeny Belov, Denis Spitsov and Alexey Chervotkin. However, due to Bolshunov’s unsportsmanlike behavior, they were deprived of the award. After the finish, the Russian knocked down one of the rivals. The second Russian team, finishing fourth, thus moved up to third place.
The winners of the race were the Norwegian team. Finnish skiers won silver.
The next stage of the World Cup starts on January 29 in Falun, Sweden. The competition will run until January 31st.
