Florida’s Russian goalkeeper Bobrovsky was surprised by the NHL championship ring
Florida Panthers players received championship rings for winning the Stanley Cup in the 2023/2024 season. This was reported on the club’s social network page. X.
At the ceremony, among others, Russian goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky received the decoration. When the box with the ring was opened in front of the athlete, he could not hide his surprise.
In June 2024, Florida won the Stanley Cup, defeating the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL finals. The series ended with a score of 4-3.
Bobrovsky has been playing for Florida since 2019. In the KHL, the goalkeeper played for Metallurg until the end of the 2009/2010 season and for SKA in the 2012/2013 season during the lockout in the National Hockey League (NHL).
