Less than a month to go before the debut of the new one BMW XM. It will be a new high-performance hybrid-electric concept car: the German carmaker announced that on November 29 Franciscus van Meel, chairman of the board of BMW M, and Marcus Syring, head of BMW M Design, will present this new concept vehicle, but without adding any details about this model. The only certainty is that in the range of the German brand it will rank at the top of the SUV offer.
In reality, the official presentation of the new BMW XM was set in the frame of a brand experience to be held in Los Angeles on November 16 and 17, but until November 29 following no details of this model will be made public. We are talking about the most powerful BMW production vehicle ever, since under the hood it will hide a twin-turbo V8 coupled with an electric motor. The maximum power released by the powertrain, according to the latest rumors reported by Carscoops, should be around around 750 hp: it will be the same propulsion system that will most likely also equip the new generation of the M5. In recent months, the German car manufacturer has never stopped testing the new XM on the road: we will see if what should remain a concept car today will actually go into production at a later time.
