The passion for construction and that for Motorsport are intertwined in the new Lego set dedicated to BMW M Motorsport: these are two models from the Speed Champions collection which celebrate the commitment of the sports division of the German brand in the world of competitions, in particular with the scale reproductions to be built of the BMW M Hybrid V8 and the BMW M4 GT3. A set for a total of 676 pieces which will reproduce the two cars that will be involved in the FIA WEC races in their respective classes, taking part among others in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
A set of champions
The Speed Champions collection translates into bricks some of the most iconic cars that take part in the main motor racing competitions, such as in this case the models from BMW's M division. The BMW M Hybrid V8 / BMW M4 GT3 set will go on sale on March 4, 2024 at a price of 49.99 euros. It can be purchased at BMW dealers or online.
BMW and the WEC
BMW M Motorsport will celebrate the long-awaited return to international prototype racing this year with the BMW M Hybrid V8. The electrified V8 racing car passed its first test of strength last season in the prestigious GTP category of the IMSA series, and will also compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship this year. Exactly 25 years after the famous overall victory of the BMW V12 LMR at Le Mans, the launch of the BMW M Hybrid V8 in the legendary endurance classic opens a new chapter in the prototype racing history of the BMW brand. The BMW M Team WRT will also enter the BMW M4 GT3 in next season's FIA WEC races with a car competing in the LMGT3 class.
