The name of the auction winner who paid $28 million for a seat on Blue Origin’s first special flight was revealed. Justin Sun, CEO of blockchain platform Tron, was the highest bidder at the June event.
Despite this, he was unable to be on the company’s first flight due to a mismatch of schedules. His seat was given to Joes Daemen, CEO of Somerset Capital Partners, who had purchased a ticket for the second flight, which instead of flying, presented his son Oliver, who became the youngest space tourist in history. The other crew were Mark Bezos, and Wally Funk.

On his twitter, the CEO said that he will choose another five “special warriors” to accompany him on the journey that should take place in 2022.
“Six months ago, I was lucky to win the auction of the first release of Blue Origin! Today, I announce that I am launching the ‘Sea of Stars’ campaign, which will select 5 warriors to explore space with me in 2022!” he says.
He further reinforced that the crew will be, respectively, a strong name in the cryptocurrency market, a member of the Tron community, a technology entrepreneur, an artist and a celebrity.
