Bloodborne 2 it could be coming to PS5, along with a special surprise: the remastered version of the first chapter. Rumors about it have spread among fans and waiting players, more and more eager to get their hands on new works by Bluepoint Games.
The studio recently joined PlayStation Studios and, since the announcement of the acquisition, many rumors have spread regarding the projects in the pipeline. To talk about Bloodborne 2 and a PlayStation 5 version of the first chapter was the insider Colin Moriarty, podcaster, journalist and founder of Kinda Fuzzy.
The rumor had regained footing a few days ago, when Moriarty himself had published a Twitter post concerning a possible Bluepoint project set in Yharnam, the main scenario of Bloodborne.
This time the insider claimed that the studio would be working on Bloodborne 2 and on the remastered version of the first title in the series, coming to next-gen Sony.
As I understand it, they are about to re-release Bloodborne on PlayStation 5. We’ll have the Bloodborne sequel from them later.
This same rumor had already been spread on Discord last week, but Moriarty had assured that he would have documented about it. at another of his sources. The confirmations came in a podcast on 11 October. Despite the rumors that are repeated and are increasingly determined, no official information has still been released. Therefore, every rumor seen so far must be taken with due caution.
Bluepoint Games has already dealt with successful remastered versions in the past, such as Shadow of the Colosseus And Demon’s Souls. It would, therefore, be perfectly capable of dealing with Bloodborne (and, possibly, also of Bloodborne 2) for PS5. Recall that these rumors come shortly after the announcement that a former game developer has joined Team Ninja, the famous software house creator of Nioh.
