The developer ARC SYSTEM WORKS announced that support for netcode rollback has finally been integrated into the version Steam from BLAZBLUE CENTRALFICTIONpublished on April 26, 2017, marking the end of the testing period.
As early as December 2021, the team promised to implement this system through an update. The public tests began last December and lasted until January 31, 2022.
However, it appears that Centralfiction it will not be the only one to benefit from such an addition: in the ARC SYSTEM WORKS plans there is in fact the integration of netcode rollback also in BlazeBlue: Cross Tag Battlescheduled for a generic 2022.
Finally, we remind you that the “netcode rollback“Is a technology that allows to reduce theinput lag of the commands (extremely critical element in fighting games), foreseeing – in a nutshell – the possible moves of the players, in order to carry them out immediately (skipping frames) without first having to synchronize the data of both machines.
