Black Widow, the movie starring Scarlett Johansson, hit Disney Plus this Friday, July 9, and fans couldn’t be more excited. The film is Natasha Romanoff’s first solo story and will tell how ghosts from her past catch up with her present.
The film introduced us to Yelena Belova as the younger sister of the protagonist and now stands as her successor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. What few expected is that his future would take a less heroic turn after the appearance of Countess Valentina on the post-credit scene.
When Belova visits her sister’s grave to pay her respects, the Countess made an appearance to propose a mission: to finish off Hawkeye, whom she blames for Natasha’s death. At the moment we do not know what decision the spy will make in this regard, but it was clear to us that the two women had already worked together.
The Countess had already appeared in Falcon and the Winter Soldier to recruit John Walker (US Agent) as one of her agents. For this reason, more than one fan believes that Valentina would be forming a team of exceptional beings similar to the Avengers but with other interests involved.
At best it could be the Dark Avengers, a team of superheroes led by Norman Osborn in the comics. In case they are brought to the big screen, Marvel Studios could take several creative licenses considering that none of the original members were introduced to the MCU to date.
