BJP MP from Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh has been accused of assault by Councilor Ashutosh Tiwari. The councilor has said that if something untoward happens to him, the MPs will be responsible for him. The council has written a letter to the CM and made him aware of the matter.
On the other hand, the MP has accused the councilor of defaming him, calling the case baseless. There was a tussle between BJP’s Raghavanagar Ward No 17, Councilor Ashutosh Tiwari and MP Ramapathi Ram Tripathi over the name of the auditorium at Town Hall in Deoria.
Deoria administration officials also sought help
The BJP councilor has alleged that at 10:30 pm on November 19, the MP was beaten up for naming the auditorium at Town Hall and a contractor also took out the pistol. Panicated by this case, the councilor has written a letter to the Chief Minister, District Magistrate, Deoria Superintendent of Police and senior BJP leaders against his own party MP.
BJP MP termed the allegations baseless
On the other hand, the BJP MP said that all the allegations made by Councilor Ashutosh Tiwari are baseless. I have not heard from the councilor. Some people were beaten up on the street of the councilor, I later got to hear this. The supporters are trying to discredit me.
