So far, this is the only opinion that Gates has omitted on the situation in Ukraine.
According to the newspaper ‘El Economista’, taking a stand on conflicts such as the one the world is currently experiencing could represent a personal financial risk for some of the world’s richest people.
This would explain why some of them have avoided commenting on the attacks on Ukrainian territory or have avoided sanctions against Russia for the so-called ‘special military operation’ in Ukraine.
