Former US President Bill Clinton (1993-2001) was admitted to a hospital in California for an infection unrelated to Covid-19. The hospitalization took place on Tuesday (12), but it was only disclosed this Thursday (14).
“On Tuesday night, President Clinton was admitted to the UCI Medical Center to receive treatment for an infection unrelated to Covid. He is recovering, in a good mood and is extremely grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff who provided excellent care,” Clinton spokesperson Angel Ureña said on Twitter.
According to CNN, Clinton, 75, was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for close monitoring and is being treated with antibiotics. The medical team said the former president is responding well to treatment and should return home soon.
