Beijing Norway, which won the mixed message at the Olympics, continued its top pace in the World Cup, winning the mixed message in Otepää, Estonia. Sweden was 22.5 seconds behind and France 34.6 seconds behind.
Finland was eighth, with a difference of four minutes and 39 seconds. They competed in the Finnish team Jaakko Ranta, Heikki Laitinen, Mari Eder and Nastassia Kinnunen. Finland fired one fine and used 12 spare cartridges.
Norwegian Sturla Holm Lägreid and Marte Olsbu Röiseland won the mixed crossing of the World Biathlon Cup in Otepää, Estonia. The duo solved the race with just one spare cartridge. Sweden was second and Germany third.
Finland Tero Seppälä and Suvi Minkkinen ranked 11th, losing just over two minutes to the top. Finland’s balance from the shooting ranges was ten spare cartridges.
