A new trailer for Better Call Saul 6 was released yesterday and the more attentive will surely have noticed that the latter has, in fact, created a connection with Breaking Bad. In fact, the two series are already linked as Better Call Saul is a spin-off of Breaking Bad itself.
In any case, the connection between the two works in the trailer released yesterday is sublimated when Saul Goodman, while standing in front of the mirror, utters the following sentence: “Let justice be done, and though heavens fall”. This same phrase was uttered in season 3 and more precisely in episode 5 by Chuck McGill and was addressed to Jimmy McGill, who is none other than Saul Goodman.
The use of this phrase is rather disturbing. In the first part of Better Call Saul 6 we saw our escape from the clutches of Lalo Salamanca, being able to pull himself out of the disaster he had been in and, finally, crowning the dream of becoming the rich lawyer he had always dreamed of being. , at least until Walter and Jesse arrive …
The connection between Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad happens right herei: in the last episodes of this season we will say goodbye to Jimmy McGill and we will finally make the acquaintance of Saul Goodman. A name change that also hides a change of personality in this wonderful character who has earned his own spin-off series.
At this point, we just have to wait for the release of the last episodes of this second part of the season. Episode 8 will come out on AMC on July 11. The next day, however, it will land on Netflix. The season finale, on the other hand, is scheduled for August 15th. Either way, it looks like Saul Goodman’s adventure has come to an end.
Even if the end of this adventure is relative, considering that after Better Call Saul there are five more seasons of Breaking Bad to watch, or relate to, all in one breath.
