Betito dies, the boy who went to the hospital for stomach pain and came out with cancer

Everything in Betito’s life was going normally when approximately 10 months ago he was admitted for stomach pain to a hospital in Xalapa, Veracruzthere was diagnosed with Burkitt’s lymphoma.

The infant’s battle grew in popularity when his father, Alberto Meza Abud, a former candidate for mayor of Xalapa, together with his family, asked the population for help to raise more than three million pesos and thereby pay for a bone marrow transplant.

Unfortunately, after extensive treatment, the cancer fiercely attacked the minor until he died hospitalized.
