The Web site The Hollywood Reporter published an article announcing the production of a series Netflix titled BETbased “in part” on the manga by Kakegurui Of Tōru Naomura.
The showrunner of the series, produced by Boat Rocker Mediawill be Simon Barry, and the episodes will be filmed in Toronto. In the cast we will find Miku Martineau, Ayo Solanke, Eve Edwards, Clara Alexandrova, Hunter Cardinal, Anwen O’Driscoll, Aviva Mongillo and Ryan Sutherland. The news was confirmed by the account X Of Netflix Canadawho reported a photo of the cast.
The synopsis: “In BET the hierarchy of the college is overturned when Yumeko, a mysterious transfer student from Japan, arrives with a dark secret and a gambling knack that puts her in the crosshairs of the powerful Student Council. Ultimately, her quest for revenge threatens to completely upend the school’s status quo.”
