The Italian market of the car in the month of July 2024 has grown by +4.7% on July 2023especially with the tail of the incentives that June 2024 had led to a significantly higher growth thanks to theincentive effect. Sales of diesel, petrol, LPG, hybrid and electric cars
Registrations of electric carsafter the boom in June, in July they recorded 4,292 units sold, dropping to one disappointing share of 3.4%in line with that of July 2023 (at 3.8% in the January-July period). Alfa Romeo fell by 24.2%, Citroën by 4.7%, DS by 30.9%, Fiat by 28.7%, Lancia by 16.1% and Maserati by 51.8%. On the contrary, Jeep increased by 4.9%, Opel by 43.1% and Peugeot by 15%. The Volkswagen Group recorded 20,099 registrations, with a 3.2% dropAudi rose by 5.6%, Lamborghini by 14.3%, while Cupra lost 26.7%, Seat by 29%, Skoda by 1% and Volkswagen by 2.6%.
The Renault Group it went up 32.4%with 17,197 registrations: Dacha increased by 36.2% and the brand Renault of 27.8%. The Toyota Group which has seen a growth of 142.1%with Toyota up 144.2% and Lexus up 162.5%.
BMW registered 6,614 cars, with a 6.5% drop: The BMW brand increased by 11.7%, while Mini fell by 55.6%. Also Ford he suffered a 7.3% dropWhile Hyundai it’s gone down of 1.7%And Kia increased by 22.6%. Mercedes-Benz recorded 4,140 registrations, with a 4.8% drop: the main brand rose by 0.7%, while Smart fell 62.1%. Among other houses, Nissan fell by 36.1%, Suzuki increased by 9.2%, Mazda of 2.5%, Honda of 32.4%, Mitsubishi of 113% and Subaru of 58.2%.
Also Volvo rose by 5.1% with 1,550 cars, while Jaguar Land Rover it dropped by 18% and Tesla recorded a decrease of 0.8%. Ferrari saw an increase of 73.0%, while Porsche decreased by 11.5%.
