Will you leave the plane this summer and are you looking for something to cover long distances? We wouldn’t be TopGear without some great consumer advice. This rare Bentley Continental GTZ goes up for auction this weekend at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. And no, that stray ‘Z’ after ‘GT’ isn’t a typo; this is a Zagato creation.
The owner loved it double bubble roof Zagato is known for, because in 2009 he paid 500,000 euros to have his Bentley converted into the special thing you see here. That does not include the original purchase price. The Continental was already two years old at the time.

The rear in particular has changed dramatically. It finishes elegantly with two very pointed taillights. The front flanks have a new shoulder line and the bumper is also slightly different. To top it off, the Zagato was given a special shade of green. For the interior, the owner chose dark green leather. Here and there you will find Z logos on the inside. The headlining is also completely made of leather.
What does the Bentley cost?
The estimated pick-up price for the Bentley Continental GTZ is between 460,000 and 580,000 euros. Then you get one of the nine copies that have ever been built. By the way, the 6.0 W12 only ran 13,800 kilometers.
