“The addressees will find out the list in due time,” he noted. Golovchenko also expressed the hope that “hot heads will cool down.”
The prime minister added that a large number of foreign enterprises operate on the territory of the republic, especially from those countries that pursue an unfriendly policy towards Belarus. “These are Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, unfortunately, recently, and Ukraine. Therefore, I would like politicians to think about the fate of their businesses, ”he said.
According to Golovchenko, the Belarusian authorities will not sit and wait for the state to feel the cumulative effect of the sanctions.
Earlier, the representative of the European Commission (EC) Peter Stano said that the EU is preparing sanctions against Belarus. According to him, measures will be taken in the near future. He noted that the union is doing everything to implement the decision of the EU leaders as soon as possible.
