Belarus has introduced licenses for the export of apples, onions and white cabbage
Belarus has introduced licenses for the export of apples, onions and white cabbage from the state. The corresponding decree was signed by the Prime Minister of the country Roman Golovchenko, the press service of the government of Belarus reported in its Telegram-channel.
The export of products will be carried out under one-time licenses issued by the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) in agreement with the Minsk City Executive Committee.
“The decision on the possibility of issuing such a license will be made by the authorized bodies based on an assessment of the ratio of free resources of this product in the Republic of Belarus and the country’s need for it at the time of approval of the license,” the message says.
Previously, Norway joined the EU sanctions imposed against Belarus on June 29. It is noted that these restrictions are aimed at several sectors of the economy of the post-Soviet state, including trade, services and transport, and “a number of measures of the sanctions regime against Russia also apply to Belarus.”
