The US special envoy for Lebanon, Amos Hochstein, will arrive in the Asian country on Tuesday
The Lebanese Government has informed Washington that accepts latest US ceasefire proposal in the open conflict between Israel and the Shiite party-militia Hezbollah, according to sources from the Asian country’s public television LBCI.
The US special envoy to Lebanon, Amos Hochstein, is scheduled to arrive in Beirut next Tuesday to finalize details on the implementation of the proposal to ensure that it complies with the Lebanese Constitution, according to the source.
The United States moved the proposal last week through its Embassy in Beirut and the president of the Lebanese Parliament Nabí Berri, an ally of Hezbollah.
It remains now to know if they accept the proposal. both Israel and the Hezbollah militia party after six weeks since the start of the Israeli ground invasion and the intensification of bombing.
