“beetlejuice” is a comedy produced by the famous filmmaker Tim Burton which premiered in 1988. The success was so great that a year later an animated series and several video games were made. A stage musical adaptation opened on Broadway in 2019. Now, the news of a sequel to the original tape leaves more than one fan excited.
In the feature film we see a young Lydia Deetz, played by Winona Ryder, and Beetlejuice, played by Michael Keaton. Both would reprise their same roles after more than 30 years.

What is “Beetlejuice” about?
In the film, Adam (Alec Baldwin) and Barbara (Geena Davis) are killed in a car accident shortly after moving into their new home. After his death, the mansion is in the hands of new owners: Charles Deetz (Jeffrey Jones), his wife Delia Deetz (Catherine O’Hara) and his daughter Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder). However, the ghosts of Adam and Barbara are upset by their arrival, and accidentally ask Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton) for help in scaring away the new tenants from their home.

According to reports from TheAnkler, a sequel to the classic was already being developed a while ago by Brad Pitt’s producer, Plan B Entertainment. The outlet also indicated that Michael Keaton and Winona Rider would be part of the cast, reprising their roles from the 1988 film.
Regarding the rest of the cast members, it is not yet known if the other actors will return in their same roles or if even Tim Burton himself will write the script.
