A former agent of the Municipal Police of Tijuana, Baja California, was arrested for being the alleged person responsible for the murder of the dentist, Aurora Díaz Lozano.
The Baja California Attorney General’s Office, through elements of the State Security and Investigation Guard (GESI), caught Raúl ‘N’ and sent him to a Control judge.
According to the investigations and based on the data provided by the agent of the Public Ministry, the motive for the crime was the theft of a car.
On December 14, 2020, the former police officer contacted the dentist to ask to see the car he was selling. Díaz Lozano summoned him to his home located on Altamirano Street in the Márquez de León neighborhood, where he stabbed her.
In initial hearing, the FGE made the formulation of the accusation against Raúl ‘N’, for the crimes of qualified homicide and theft of a vehicle.
The judge issued preventive detention as a precautionary measure and in the next few days it will be determined whether or not to link him to the process.
Raúl ‘N’ was discharged from the Municipal Police more than two years ago for being positive in the anti-doping test, and even months later, his former colleagues arrested him for the crime of vehicle theft.
