The 1. FC Cologne has extended the sponsorship contract with DEVK until 2025. For this, the billy goats receive 2 million euros annually from the insurance company. A comparatively small amount if you look at how much companies are paying for space on their chest. But which one society creams the most?
1. VfL Wolfsburg
The undisputed leader is VfL Wolfsburg. The parent company VW provides 70 million euros annually and for an unlimited period until further notice. With that you could handle many a transfer.
2. FC Bayern Munich
The record champions are not in first place. 45 million euros a year from Telekom should alleviate the pain somewhat. The contract is valid until 2023.
3. Borussia Dortmund
Granted, this is where the income is divided. In the league, telecommunications giant 1 & 1 is the main sponsor of Borussia. In the DFB Cup and the Champions League, it is the electricity supplier Evonik. Nevertheless, BVB gets almost 35 million euros into the club’s treasury. Both deals run until 2023.
4th RB Leipzig
Some might suspect evil behind the jersey sponsorship of the energy drink manufacturer. Let’s just leave the 35 million euros in revenue for the people of Leipzig. The contract between the two sides is valid until 2023.
5. FC Schalke 04
At the time, cleverly designed by Gerhard Schröder, Schalke can look forward to a lot of money every year. The Russian state-owned company Gazprom is paying 20 million euros to Gelsenkirchen. So you can still earn like a Champions League club until 2022.
This is what the form table looks like in the Bundesliga. At the top is SC Freiburg. Schalke was able to shoot themselves out of the basement with a win.
These Bundesliga teams have had to wait for a win for the longest time in Bundesliga history.
This is the Bundesliga top eleven on matchday 15. There are Erling Haaland, Jonas Hofmann and three Schalke players.
FC Bayern Munich is ahead of Borussia Dortmund, Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga
6th VfB Stuttgart
The Swabians are the sympathetic climbers of the season. This will be rewarded with 10 million euros from the Mercedes-Benz Bank. The Swabians will get money to save for another two years until 2023.
