Here’s what changes in Battlefield 2042.
The long awaited patch from Battlefield 2042, originally scheduled for February, has finally arrived and is available on all platforms. Version 3.3 provides an in-game scoreboard. The scoreboard, first shown in January, has been slightly updated.
Mainly, the design now includes player deaths, which were somehow among the most requested additions. The match overview panel continues to exist, but has now found a new, more condensed home on the left side of the page. DICE said further updates to the scoreboard are underway, including making it available during the end-of-round screen.
The other major addition in the patch is the Steadfast Exclusive Legendary Bundle, a set of cosmetic items for owners of the Ultimate / Gold editions and the game’s Season Pass. The bundle comes as compensation for the game’s first season delay, which still doesn’t have a date.
Looking ahead, DICE said a larger update is currently scheduled for early April. This will add VOIP between teams, more scoreboard updates, and a number of balance changes for weapons and vehicles. The developer also said we can expect “a review of attack behavior for infantry weapons across the board.”
