The publisher of Battlefield 2042Electronic Arts, revealed that the user feedback prompted developer Ripple Effect Studios to bring major changes to large-scale maps of the shooter.
One of the main criticisms leveled at Battlefield 2042 is that it has become a “walking simulator“In other words, according to players, it takes too long to get back into combat after respawn. To improve the situation, the studio will make adjustments to the respawn points to make sure it doesn’t take that long to get back into action.
EA also discussed another complaint: users believe some game modes, like Breakthrough, are too chaotic; for this reason, the developer of Battlefield 2042 is trying to figure out if it is possible to reduce the number of players or reduce the number of vehicles available. He is also trying to “ensure there are more opportunities to hide from enemy sight while switching between targets” with regards to maps that are too flat and open.
The team is therefore listening to Battlefield 2042 players. We also remember that Update 3.3 has been postponed to next week.
