Men Wednesday’s match against BC Nokia in Lahti Basketball, which plays in the basketball league, will be postponed a week because the team wants to recover from the shock caused by a car accident over the weekend. Four players of the team had a crash in Mäntsälä late Saturday night.
“Two of the players have been discharged from the hospital and two are still being treated in the hospital,” Roope Suonio opened the Lahti club on Monday website.
Suonio described the crash as very severe.
“Given the situation, we are very lucky because no lives were lost. This is a straightforward miracle, and now we are focusing on the rehabilitation of the players. ”
Suonio praised BC Nokia’s ability to cooperate in connection with the match transfer. Lahti Basketball will return to the action on Saturday, when KTP will arrive as a guest.
