The accident happened on the Lahti motorway.
Korisliiga Four players from Lahti Basketball were involved in a car accident late Saturday and then hospitalized for observation, the team reported on its website on Sunday.
Executive Director of the Society Roope Suonio said the players are not life-threatening, but did not want to tell us more about the players’ well-being.
According to Suonio, the accident took place on the motorway between Helsinki and Lahti.
Bay met on Saturday at his home field in Loimaa and took the victory with points 89–86. The team’s next match is against Nokia on Wednesday at the away field.
