The last months of FC Barcelona, which is going through an economic and sporting crisis, are not easy. Far from fighting for the title in the Spanish League, the club is trying to save its continuity in the Europa League.
In the midst of this panorama, austerity continues to be the key to trying to maintain a competitive payroll with a view to meeting the objectives. And in that order of ideas, that of taking care of the economy without neglecting the squad, Barcelona seems close to the possibility of securing three important signings, all free of charge.

Christensen signing showed the way
Already with this modality of getting players about to be released, Barcelona ensured the arrival of Danish defender Andreas Christensen, who did not renew with Chelsea. And now he has advanced conversations with three other footballers.
The first is Ivorian Franck Kessié, who ends his contract with Milan in June. According to the Spanish channel SER, he has already managed to reach an agreement with the club on Monday. Despite being valued at 45 million euros, his relationship with AC Milan expires this summer and his intention is not to renew in order to arrive in Spain without problems.
The second on the list is the current Chelsea captain, César Azpilicueta.. Due to the sanction imposed against the London team, there is no way to renew it. Although he had a unilateral renewal clause, but the board did not activate it before his accounts were frozen.

And the third name in the picture for Barcelona is Ajax right-back Noussair Mazraoui, who was even followed up on Tuesday in his team’s loss to Benfica in the Champions League.
If they were not close to finishing their contracts, Barcelona would have had to invest around 111 million euros in those four signings, according to the price of the Transfermarkt portal. At least, in the club there is a good management of austerity.
