Rafael Yuste, vice-president of the blaugrana club and right-hand man of Joan Laporta, gave an interview on Tuesday in ‘Catalonia Radio’where he addressed some of the current hot topics at the club, including the renewals of Ousmane Dembélé, Ronald Araújo and Gavi. The Blaugrana leader confirmed the news advanced by AS about Xavi Hernández’s commitment to the continuity of the French winger and announced that the club will try again in an imminent meeting with his agent.
Dembele: “As is already known, the first negotiations did not bear fruit at the time. But Xavi tells us that he is an exceptional player, that he is, and that he is also contributing a lot to the club. I think he is also being very important on a psychological level with the player because he is understanding the system much better. It is clear that Xavi is being a reference for the players. Araújo and Gavi: “In both cases we are working to the maximum of our possibilities so that there are no problems in their renewals and that they continue to be Barcelona players for many years.
