In case you don’t know, the cinema chains have a ticket promotion at 6 soles, with which you can enjoy all the movies on the billboard, such as “Thor: love and thunder”, “Nope”, among others. However, if what you want is a good dose of terror, you may find what you are looking for in “Barbarian”the film stars Bill Skarsgard from “It” and Georgina Campbell from “Black mirror”, which is shaping up to be the scariest of the year.
The official trailer confirms that “barbarian”, as it was titled in English, has the presence of the producers of “La maldición”, “It” and “El aro”. With that in mind, fans of scares can breathe a sigh of relief at the quality of the film.
What is “Barbarian” about?
In “Barbaro”, a young woman travels to Detroit for a job interview, for which she rents a house to stay. But when she arrives at night, she discovers that the house had been rented by someone else and that a strange man is already staying there.
Against his better judgment, he decides to spend the night, though he soon realizes there is much more to fear than an unexpected guest.
“Help me!” is the cry of Keith (Skarsgard) that will unleash terror in the apparently inoffensive rented AirBnb. Tess (Campbell) will have to solve the mystery within the residence, while she seeks to help her enigmatic temporary roommate, and she must do it without dying trying.
Of course, none of the trailers reveal exactly what’s going on in the house, which makes the plot all the more intriguing.
“Barbarian” is available now only in theaters.
