Digimon Survive It has been one of the most anticipated games for fans, but also one of the most complicated for Bandai Namco. Since its announcement, this installment has been delayed three times, and at the moment there is no specific release date. Fortunately, Kazumasa Habu, producer of the company, this production is on a better path, and An update has been provided that reveals quite a bit about this project.
To begin with, it is pointed out that the reason for the latest delay is related to a change of equipment. Originally, Witchcraft was the team in charge of this work, but now Digimon Survive it’s in HYDE’s hands. Habu has pointed out that this change involved stopping and redoing some of the development.

Along with this, a question and answer section by Habu promises a story divided into 12 chapters, which guarantee a more adult and darker plot. Similarly, three different endings are discussedand an estimated game time of 40 hours to get a conclusion, and 100 hours if you want to see all the options that are available to us.
Regarding his gameplay, there is talk of 70% graphic novel, and 30% tactical RPG where you have 113 digital monsters at your disposal, and an extensive list of available abilities and combinations. Unfortunately, there was no talk about the release date of this title.

It sounds strange that a Digimon game would take so long to develop. However, the delays make a lot of sense when we take into consideration the change of studios and how ambitious the project sounds for Bandai Namco. I just hope it manages to satisfy the fans.
