From Larian Studios they insist that they intend to exit Early Access sometime in 2022.
Things grind slowly. That ensures the saying. And that’s what the Belgians are doing from Larian studios with Baldur’s Gate 3. The important thing is that everything goes well in a game that is available in Early Access, but which still has a long way to go. Now, its creatives have spoken of the future detailing, especially, everything about its next patch.
Baldur’s Gate will remain in Early Access indefinitelySwen Vincke, director of the game, has detailed the news that will include the fifth patch of the RPG, which will add new content for the game such as weapons and mechanics, as well as visual improvements. Of course, we will have to wait for July 13 to start enjoying all the details. The goal is to improve the gaming experience, and that will be especially noticeable in the AI and combat system. From Larian they also point to improvements in the cinematics and dialogues with other characters.
In the patch a new addition will arrive in the interface with which we can now see the character status and modifiers from the main tab: until now it was only possible in the background. We have also worked on the roles of the classes to have a personalized background based on their race and class that will now be much more specific.
In this way, Larian will continue to work on improving and optimizing everything related to Baldur’s Gate 3 and they have insisted that, hopefully, it will come out of Early Access and will have a full launch throughout 2022; although they do not confirm it with total certainty.
