Larian Studios has released updated player stats to celebrate the first anniversary of Baldurs Gate 3which landed on PC with version 1.0 on August 3rd of last year. Some of the information collected and shared by the studio is really nice, but it could clearly include some spoiler for those who haven’t played this RPG yet, although we’ll try to avoid the most important information here.
For example, let’s talk about romantic relationships. Overall, players have kissed characters 75 million times. Predictably Shaodwheart was the most popular with 27 million kisses, followed by Astarion with 15 million, while in last place we find Minthara with only 169,937 kisses. Entering a more fiery area, 658,000 players decided to copulate with Halsin, of which 197,000 preferred to do so while he was in his bear.
Other statistics
Speaking of more “serious” statistics, 161,660 people have completed the game in Honor Modewhile 1,223,305 matches ended in defeat, with 76% of players having their saves erased and 24% continuing in Custom Mode.
Astarion is the most popular Origin character as an avatar and was chosen by 1.21 million players, followed by Gale and Shadowheart. However, 93% of players preferred a custom characterwith the most popular class being the Paladin, while the Elf was the most popular race.
